It’s Hispanic Heritage Month! Meet Alma, who celebrates her Puerto Rican heritage with music, food, and family fun. Dance has always been at the heart of Hispanic households, creating moments of joy, love, and cultural pride.
Food is another way Alma connects with her culture. Traditional dishes like mofongo bring everyone together around the table, reminding her family of their roots while creating new memories with every meal.
The holiday season holds a special place in Puerto Rican culture. Everything comes together on Three Kings Day, the grand finale of Christmas celebrations, with colorful parades, lively music, and family gatherings that unite entire communities.
And at the heart of it all are Alma’s abuelos and abuelas. They pass down songs, recipes, and stories, ensuring that traditions endure and each generation feels proud of their heritage. Alma reminds us that Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the traditions that bring families together and inspire new generations.
