🇷🇼 Rwanda’s President, Paul Kagame, has renewed his call for African nations to reduce aviation taxes, excessive fees, and travel restrictions, warning that costly air travel continues to slow the continent’s economic growth and integration.
Speaking at the African Air Transport Convention, Kagame emphasized that expensive flights across Africa are limiting trade, tourism, investment, and business opportunities that could unlock billions of dollars in economic value. He also urged governments to accelerate the implementation of the Single African Air Transport Market and make it easier for people, goods, and services to move freely across borders.
