Congratulations Private First Class Ezequiel Rodriguez for recently completing the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5K events in Trinity, FL and Clearwater, FL. Thank you for your service and sacrifice to our nation. And thank you for supporting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in its mission to care for our 1st responders and veterans.

PFC Ezequiel Rodriguez is a veteran of the 1/17 Cavalry Unit within the 82nd Airborne Division, United States Army. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on September 25, 2001, just two weeks after the attacks on September 11th, 2001. Ezequiel sustained injuries to his spine from the many parachute jumps he made during his service to the nation he loves.

Ezequiel regards his decision to serve in the U.S. Army as the most important decision of his life, and one that he would do again in a heartbeat. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is building a customized smart home for Ezequiel and his lovely wife, Sol Marian Castro, and their three children, Chenoa, Mikaily and Nahum. May God Bless and look after this great patriot and his beautiful family.

Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered and/or donated in honor of firefighter Stephen G. Siller, who laid down his life to save others on Sept. 11, 2001. The money raised by this Tunnel to Towers 5K event goes to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in its mission to care for our 1st responders and veterans, and to teach future generations about 9/11, so that those whose lives were lost or changed forever by that tragic event will never be forgotten.
