Cinematography? Great. Acting? Great. But the movie focused so heavily on Sadie Sink's character and her backstory that I felt it overshadowed Peter Parker's dilemma. A month has passed since I was laid off.

I'm tired of being depressed about it. Tired of wondering whether it was personal or just business. At some point, you have to stop replaying the same questions and start moving forward.

The silver lining is that I've had time to catch up on blogging, write a few film critiques, and finally start drafting my first screenplay.

Still, I can't help but reminisce about the days when I felt like I truly belonged somewhere.
