As I step into a new year, I always take a quiet moment to reflect on the one behind me.
2025 carried both weight and wisdom. There were real-life moments that slowed us down—loss in our family, injuries, a car accident, and challenges that required resilience rather than speed. Through it all, our focus became something deeper than productivity or achievement: inner balance, clarity, and care—for ourselves and for one another.
And even in the midst of life’s interruptions, growth still happened.
This year brought milestones I’m incredibly grateful for. I was granted my very own office on E. Tarpon Springs thanks to some truly wonderful people—at Intuit -where I now offer tax preparation and guidance for individuals and small businesses, while also continuing to manage my CDFA(R) Divorceboss work from the same space. I’m also deep into writing my second book, which I’m excited to share later this year.
My children continue to amaze me. Watching them excel in their education and step confidently toward their future careers has been one of my greatest joys. I can’t say enough about Florida Virtual School and my daughter’s beautiful journey into adulthood—it’s been inspiring to witness.
Each year, I choose one word to guide my perspective forward. This year, that word is Reciprocation. I checked out of social media for a good part of the year , and no-one said anything. Which made me wonder 💭
We live in a world where everyone is carrying something. We’re often so focused on managing what’s coming at us that we forget how powerful it can be to simply pause and check in. A text is kind. A comment is thoughtful. But sometimes, a call—just to say “How are you really doing?”—means everything.
Strength doesn’t make someone immune to needing support. And sometimes the strongest people are the ones least likely to ask.
As we move into this new year, my hope is that we remember to give back the care we so easily offer in theory. To reach out. To return the kindness. To show up in the ways we’d hope someone would for us.
Here’s to a year that’s momentous, motivating, and rooted in genuine connection. I hope to have more moments and photos with you all this year !
Let’s check on each other. 🤍
