How could years of studying the Old Testament miss something so crucial? Discovering 'sons of God' and 'Elohim' in Psalm 82 felt earth-shattering. God's rebuke of these divine beings changes everything. Anyone else feel like they're constantly uncovering new layers in familiar texts?

Spread the word tomorrow we will be having a Thanksgiving feast.
We will be at our normal spot at the Tampa skate park, “the bro bowl.“
We are going to be sharing a table with a beautiful spread…
With spiral glazed ham and cranberry jalapeño turkey meatballs covered in a delicious gravy with sides of green beans and mashed potatoes.
And as Always we never skimp on dessert 🧁

We will all be serving outside of the food truck buffet style, allowing people to come through with their plates and us to serve them as they pass through.
Come see us from 11:30 AM - 3:30PM and celebrate all that we have to be grateful for in the Lord together!

The address is 1508–1598 N Lamar St
Tampa, FL 33602
United States

We will also have some limited supplies and blankets to pass out as well

God is good and we are grateful to serve his people!

Come see us✌️❤️🔔

The Gospels emphasize that Jesus deliberately chose Passover—not Tabernacles or Hanukkah—as the time to confront worldly powers with his kingdom message. Passover powerfully symbolizes God rescuing Israel from slavery, redeeming his people through victory over Pharaoh.

Exiled in Babylon, the Israelites wondered if their God, Yahweh, was weaker than Marduk. Ezekiel's message is clear: even in captivity, Yahweh is still in command of the world and history. God is still in control.

The Bible? It's God's story of saving and forming a people, inviting them into covenant. They become emissaries, showing a new way to be human through God's love, mercy, and justice. It invites you into a personal connection. That's how the Bible presents itself.

Passover wasn't originally about forgiving sins because Israel's Egypt enslavement wasn't seen as sin punishment. Post-exile prophets called for a second exodus to conquer darkness and deal with sins—it's about both victory and atonement.

The Genesis account shows humans created last, a contrast to land creatures. Then, a snake appears, tempting them to be like the sky rulers, to be like Elohim—God. Is it an intentional ambiguity? "Don't you want to be like the ultimate ruler?"

The snake starts as a wise, perceptive creature, but ends up cursed above all others. What happened? It's a literary design, a Breaking Bad story—a good creature gone bad. This reveals the snake's true identity. Subscribe & Share the Good News!

The New Testament effortlessly unites Jewish ideas: the Messiah represents his people. Jesus battles the ultimate enemy alone. God's victory over Egypt wasn't about hate; it was about love. "God so loved the world that he gave his only son."

At Passover, Yahweh offers a choice Pharaoh never did: choose your path. Accept the Passover lamb's covering and protect your firstborn. Refuse, and forfeit their life. It's a tough story, but a powerful choice.

Old Testament sacrifices didn't forgive adultery or idolatry—only exile or death. The sacrifice of Christ covers everything. Forgiveness in Leviticus made people acceptable to reenter worship after ritual defilement, not moral defilement.

When people say we live in the end times, they mean we live in the overlap. Paul and Peter talked about it 2,000 years ago. We're at the fulcrum between the old and new creation—the exodus of liberation that will happen in the resurrection.
