Ten years. A decade of fun, food, friends and many memories. When The Attic first opened in 2015 we were a small cafe at the top of a 4th story office building. Small, quiet and truly a hidden gem.
Over the past decade we’ve moved, we’ve grown, we’ve changed and now we’ve decided it is time to close what has been an incredible chapter. For those who have dined with us, whether it was at the very top of that small office building in downtown Tampa or here in Ybor city, we appreciate every. single. one of you.
A major thank you and a lifetime of gratitude goes out to our Chef Rosa, and her incredible family for being at the heart of the Attic. Making sure everything was taken care of everyday for the last ten years. As we come to a close we would love for anyone who visits us one last time, to come give a big thanks to Chef Rosa for all her incredible work!
Chef Rosa’s dedication to this restaurant has inspired us all, and we are forever grateful. To our staff past, and present, you rock. We would be nowhere without all of the incredible staff members we’ve had throughout the years, so thank you. Another thank you goes out to our wonderful owners George and Rich who have worked behind the scenes day in and day out on the Attic!
As for me, being the narrator and the voice behind this company for half a decade has been the greatest honor and I hope I created something fun, delicious or “insta worthy” for you during my time here! Being the creative mind behind things here at The Attic has been a great joy for me, seeing you guys come out and try my silly little ideas was such an incredible experience. One that I will always cherish.
As we start slowing down we invite you to come give us a last try. We will be here, cooking up all your favorites until our official last day, August 17th.
Thank you all. We appreciate you more than you ever could know.
—Love,
Savannah
