Yes, she has freedom of religion but you know what, if her religion keeps her from performing the job that she was hired or elected to then she needs to leave the fu***ng job. If I think drunkenness is a sin, I shouldn't be a bartender. If I think capital punishment is a sin, I shouldn't be a executioner. So if she thinks same gender marriage is a sin. Then she should resign for from the fu***ng job. Nobody forced her to be a civil clerk. If your religious beliefs convince and convict you not to perform your civic obligations, then yeah, you need to choose. And clearly, if your faith tells you that performing same gender marriages puts your soul in moral jeopardy for all eternity, then go find another job! This w***h just needs to go away.
