WMNF first went on the air in September, 1979, the result of a few years of hard work by a small group of dedicated volunteers who went door-to-door raising money for Florida's first community radio station. This week on The Rhythm Revival with Rev. Billy C. Wirtz, The Rev. and Marvin talked with legendary harp player, Jerry Portnoy, about his time with Muddy Waters and his book, "Dancing with Muddy: Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, and My Lucky Life In and Out of the Blues." They also celebrated the birthdays of Little Richard, Shuggie Otis, Sonny Boy Williamson II, and Brownie McGee. Plus, Marvin and the Rev. paid tribute to Steve Cropper, who passed away December 3, by playing an archived interview with him.
