The hat had to be made 🇺🇸 U.S. Soccer MNT

That button??? Apparently, it turns years of creative curiosity into a business.

Here’s the truth: a commercial embroidery machine like my Melco Summit isn’t an impulse purchase. It’s a real investment. And I didn’t get it hoping it would magically make me successful.

I got it because I already loved creating. 💕

I have a background in graphic design. I sketch ideas for fun. My favorite design program is Adobe Illustrator. I’ve spent years making things with Cricuts and laser engravers, constantly asking, “What can I make next?”

Embroidery felt like the next chapter. 📖

So I took the leap, learned the ropes (with some amazing guidance from the trainers at Melco), and kept creating.

Now every time I press that button, it’s another hat, another patch, another gift, another design that started as a tiny idea and became something real.

If you’re a creative who’s always making, always experimenting, and always dreaming about building something of your own, this is your reminder: invest in your skills first, your tools second, and never stop being curious. DM me if you have any questions or want the hook up from Melco. I can connect you with my fav people over there.

You never know which “What if?” will become your next business.

✨ And yes… I still press buttons just to see what happens. 😂

The amount of thread in my embroidery studio might be concerning to some people. 😅

But hear me out...

Every color has a purpose. Every spool has a project. And unlike some purchases, this one comes with a tax deduction. 😂

Hi, I’m Kelly. I built a camper around an embroidery machine and somehow turned my love of making things into a business.

Around here you’ll find embroidery projects, crafting ideas, behind the scenes business moments, event setups, Etsy orders, and probably a few stories about buying supplies I absolutely convinced myself I needed.

If you love creativity, personalized gifts, embroidery, small business life, or watching someone figure it out as they go, you’re in the right place.

Follow along and let’s make cool stuff. 💛

Let's talk embroidery business storage... I'm thinking this will help me keep everything I need in one place when I'm working out of the camper in the garage. Then, I can take whatever I need on the road in a tackle-box of sorts. Anyone have one?

Look how cute they are and check out the color options >> https://shoplowes.me/4v7WpCe

I've spent a lot of money testing embroidery supplies.

Some were great. Some weren't.

I finally put together a list of products I keep coming back to.

These are some of the supplies I use in my home studio and inside The Crafted Camper.

If you're an embroiderer, I hope it helps. 💕

This machine helped turn a wild idea into a real business.

From rebuilding a camper into a mobile embroidery studio to stitching at events across Tampa Bay, my Melco Summit has been with me every step of the way.

So when asked me to share their June promotion, it was an easy yes.

If you purchase a Melco machine during June and use my code KELLY300, you’ll receive a $300 Shop Melco credit after your purchase.

No pressure, no sales pitch! I’m just sharing something that’s been a huge part of my journey.

Questions? Send me a message. I’m happy to give you my honest thoughts as someone who uses this machine every day.
