We sincerely apologize that we were unable to air this morning’s Back to the Beach Radio Podcast with Sylvia Johns Ritchie as advertised.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, today’s scheduled appearance had to be postponed. We know many of Sylvia’s fans were looking forward to hearing from her, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Well, I’ve come to one important conclusion after this travel adventure…

It apparently takes longer to get from Dallas to Tampa than it does to get from Tampa to Guam! 😂✈️

Yesterday started at 7:00 a.m. in McAllen, Texas with a flight to DFW. Then the fun began:

* ⏳ One hour sitting on the ramp
* ⛈️ Weather hold
* 🚑 Medical emergency on board
* 🔙 Back to the gate
* 🧳 Everyone gets off the plane
* 📢 Seven flight delays
* 😴 Crew times out and needs mandatory rest

Finally departed DFW at 11:00 p.m. and landed in Miami at 2:10 a.m.

Now I’m waiting on an 8:00 a.m. flight to Tampa.

At this point, I’m convinced I could have packed a suitcase, flown to Guam, learned the local language, and still beaten my trip from Dallas to Tampa.

Next time someone asks me if I’m taking the scenic route, the answer is apparently… “Yes.” 😆
