Owner, John Wendelken, is an amazing example of what it takes to truly thrive within the framework of multiple fields. He has a strong work ethic, an extensive knowledge of music, and an impressive willingness to keep guests of all age groups motivated and excited during your event. This makes him one of the most sought after entertainers in the Tampa Bay area. He was raised around music his whole

life and took up drumming as a kid. Later on he attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California and graduated with honors. He then went to Cleveland University and graduated magna cm laude with a Bachelors in Communication Science. While residing in Ohio, he played in numerous blues and rock bands. It was then that he developed a great passion for entertainment. His extensive knowledge of sound science and audio/visual equipment allow him to have an advanced understanding of how to take your event to the next level. Over the course of his career he has had the great honor of entertaining at Tampa Bay’s world renowned African theme park for over 10 years during their largest functions. John has also been hired to open for great bands such as KC and the Sunshine Band, Starship, BTO, Styx, 5th Dimension, and more. He has also toured the country providing entertainment for fortune 500 companies such as Trader Joes, and Chase bank.

What a night! Nearly $800,000 was raised thanks to an incredibly generous crowd and a live auction that brought the energy from start to finish.

With John Wendelken working his magic as an auctioneer, guests were inspired to exceed everyone's expectations on what could be raised with some truly unforgettable items: A pair of 14K white gold diamond hoop earrings, a Viking Sportfish yacht charter, and a trip to the Country Music Awards. Not only did we raise much more than anticipated, the room was electric with excitement and celebration everytime he said, "Sold"!

The impact of this night will be felt far beyond the ballroom. We’re so grateful for everyone who showed up, gave big, and made it all possible.

We had a truly memorable time bringing this galas theme of "Denim & Diamonds" to life at the beautiful Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel

From full video service and a crystal-clear sound system to high-energy auctioneering and emceeing by John Wendelken, Staar Entertainment helped turn this 10th anniversary celebration into a night to remember.

The event featured some standout auction items, including a hot air balloon ride, an in-home Santa experience, a diamond necklace, and even a mini goldendoodle puppy!

With support from Paradise Photo Booth the fun and memories continued throughout the night.

What an incredible evening at the Tringali Barn in beautiful St. Augustine! We had the privilege of auctioneering at a fantastic fundraising event dedicated to supporting Florida Veterans—an occasion filled with heart, community spirit, and plenty of good times.

The theme for the night was all about camo, celebrating the great outdoors and the passion for hunting that many hold close. Our live auctioneer, John Wendelken, took the stage with his trademark energy and charisma, turning every live auction item into a thrilling opportunity to give back. From exciting hunts like the Whitetail Deer and Simitar Horned Oryx to an exclusive in-house sausage focused culinary experience led by a professional chef, the auction was packed with unique, one-of-a-kind experiences that had guests bidding enthusiastically.

The rustic charm of the The Tringali Barn provided the perfect backdrop for this outdoor-inspired evening. Guests were decked out in camo gear, creating an atmosphere that felt both fun and meaningful. It was amazing to see everyone come together—friends, families, and supporters—all united by the goal of raising funds to honor and assist our brave veterans.

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated, bid generously, and helped make this night possible. Your support means the world to Florida Veterans who have given so much for our freedom. Nights like these remind us all how powerful it is when we come together for a cause that truly matters.
