In Barre, Vermont, stonecutters working in the granite quarry near Hope Cemetery turn their grief into art.

The story behind the first headstone goes that the statue wasn't unveiled until after Luigi Brusa's burial because the woman bears a much greater resemblance to his mistress than his wife 👀

The pyramids in the last photo offer religious and cryptic advice on how to live, as well as a QR code under the medallion that has faded to inaccessibility.

Make your own shrunken apple head! You'll probably want to look this up in more detail, but here's the basics:
Carve yourself a little face into your apple, rub it down with lemon and salt, and then either air dry them, use an oven at low heat, or a dehydrator if you're fancy.
Vincent Price would also suggest adding tufts of hair and whatever else you have around to make it extra creepy.
