“When we first started dating, my husband got me a plant subscription where every month a new plant came in the mail, and I fell in love with how much life it brought into our space. Our house is now filled with flowers and plants, overflowing really. I have always dreamed about an outdoor garden wedding, so when I started looking for venues, this is exactly what I was looking for. In this search, I came across Mill Pond Estate and just fell in love. We toured it in the pouring rain and even then knew it was the place for us. “Our inspiration was a Bridgerton-style garden party, though James jokingly refers to the theme as simply ‘flowers.’ We wanted to embrace the spring season, leaning into color while still keeping things classic and timeless. The ceremony was held on the golf course, where the lush greens provided a perfect canvas for vibrant floral accents. The result was elegant but fun, traditional yet vibrant. Our palette featured soft baby blue, paired with several shades of pink—bubblegum, salmon, and peach—with cheerful yellow accents. The goal was to create something eye-catching yet refined, perfectly suited to the spring season and our venue.” -The Bride⁠

“Our theme was tropical jungle with vibrant, contrasting blooms. We chose this theme to honor my Southeast Asian heritage. We wanted our guests to feel as if they had stepped into a Cambodian jungle. We incorporated lots of textures, bamboo, and other natural elements to complement the look and feel. Our colors were dark green, magenta, orange, and yellow.” -The Bride

“We titled our inspiration board ‘moody modern black and white wedding.’ We wanted to incorporate the timeless elegance of a neutral palette with modern elements like disco balls and a checkered dance floor. I lived in Manhattan for several years and was inspired by the brick industrial look. When asked what my favorite color is, I will always answer black, so when it came time to pick colors, it was a no-brainer: black chairs, black tablecloths, black napkins...black everything! Not only was the decor black with whispers of white, but we asked our guests to wear all black, black-tie attire. Weddings are an incredible opportunity to dress up, and I am so grateful that all of our guests felt the same way! Every single person wore black, and the photos turned out amazing. John and I were the center of attention in our off white/pearl tux and dress." -The Bride
