Happy 80th Birthday to our founder Marcela Boggio !

The visionary behind Marcela Gifts, she is the creative force who dreamed up the designs, the details, and the timeless beauty that define our brand.

She started this company in our family room when I was in third grade—and even before that, I’ve never seen a woman work harder. Her work ethic, resilience, and determination are the foundation this business was built on.

If you’ve ever met her, you know—she is one of the most impeccably put-together women, full of grace, creativity, and timeless style. A true force.

As her daughter, it has been the greatest honor to grow up watching her build this and now continue carrying it forward. While she still brings her creativity and vision to what we do, I’m so proud to keep building on everything she started.

Happy Easter 🤍

Today is a celebration—but not just in the traditional sense. It’s a celebration of renewal… of new beginnings… of the chance to pause, reflect, and start again with intention.

This season has felt especially meaningful for our family. Part of the reason we’ve been restructuring Marcela Gifts is to build a business that supports our life—not one that pulls us away from it. One that allows us to be present for the moments that matter most, where family and work can exist in harmony, not in competition.

We’re still learning, still refining, still figuring out what that balance looks like—but we believe in creating something that allows us to thrive without having to choose between success and being there for the people we love.

Easter is a beautiful reminder to slow down and ask ourselves: what truly matters? And where can we make space for more of that in our lives?

After many wonderful years serving this community, April 18 will be our last day in our storefront.

Before we relocate, we invite you to stop by and shop our Storefront Farewell Sale:

While our storefront is closing, Marcela Gifts is not going away.

We are also excited to begin building a new showroom and studio space in Clearwater, where we will be offering embroidery services and working on some other creative ideas we can’t wait to share with you.
