We are sending our friends at Clearwater Marine Aquarium our prayers of comfort after the passing of Dr. James “Buddy” Powell, Chief Zoological Officer of CMA and Executive Director of Clearwater Marine Aquarium Research Institute (CMARI).
We had the honor of interviewing him late last year about his lifelong work to protect and conserve wildlife, especially manatees. He truly made this world a better place and will be deeply missed.

We could call ourselves the premier resource for parents in Tampa Bay, but here’s the deal...we are in the business of collaboration. We are not the parenting experts. We don’t believe in so-called ‘parenting experts’ because every family and every child is different and it’s impossible for one single person to be an expert in all things ‘parenting’. We ARE, however, really great at connecting you to experts in their areas of expertise.
