Here’s the translation of the MARVEL comic book character we created ”Captain Citrus” into an animated character, an initial 2-D drawings and exploratory poses. I’m a big fan of ”INVINCIBLE “ and “X-MEN ‘97”, (+original X-MEN” series from the 90’s) …So fun to see how these took on that general visual aesthetic approach, before those were made. Our next project will be done in a relatively similar approach to this 2D tack - which I’m really looking forward to!🤩

Assembling some samples for a new superhero theme project, and ran across our work for MARVEL and THE FOOD GROUP, in the creation of this comic book commercial superhero character “Captain Citrus!” 🍊 who fought alongside the AVENGERS! A super fun project, from comics through to animation…I’ll post both the 2-D and 3-D development over a couple follow up posts after this!

Happy Easter! I’m Mindful of the true meaning of this special day. I’ve quite literally been blessed over the past many years to have a number of amazing faith-based clients, who have entrusted me with really important and inspiring animations that promote stewardship, kindness & faith, and Christian values. Here’s some frames & development from a recent 3 minute piece on the life path of Baptism. Being entrusted to creat Christ, as an animated character, was undoubtedly a big task, that was modified and tweaked more than any character we’ve created (not surprisingly!) Really proud of what we created, and look forward to sharing these beatiful pieces!

Speaking of relaxing, Zen states of mind… Fun to see how these 3-D photorealistic renderings of my wife Katrina‘s new beautiful VISAGE auravedic spa in Hyde Park Village, turned out to be nearly indistinguishable from the actual space. They are darn near identical to photos taken even. To boot, they just won best massage spa in the prestigious Tampa Bay magazine! I love helping Katrina realize her incredible vision:) And she is without a doubt my most treasured “client”! Haha

Having an absolutely EPIC St Patrick’s Day & Spring break SURF 🏄‍♂️ & cultural Adventure in Bali, Indonesia! The waves are huge, clean & unbelievable, this place is so very special. Even got to slide into waves with Connor & Maverick today. What an experience, feeling so blessed!

While I was @ IAAPA, I pitched our new Manatee immersive experience to multiple zoos & aquariums around the world, with AMAZING results…AND when I returned, I found out that incoming Vice President JD Vance, his wife and family visited Manatee Lagoon and spoke highly of the exhibit. How cool!
