Connie Rose, M.S. Ad.Ed. a TEDx Speaker, Founder of Victims2Survivors-US, Chair of the Hillsborough County Commission on Human Trafficking, and a lived-experience leader who has spent 40+ years turning survival into systems change.

We’ll be talking about:

- What human trafficking REALLY looks like in Hillsborough County

- The data — who is most at risk and what the numbers aren’t telling us

- What our local systems are doing right and where the gaps remain

- How YOU can make a difference right here in Tampa Bay

Today on Making Connections we were joined by Aileen Rodriguez For Hillsborough County Commission district 7 Aileen Rodriguez Rogers and it was a candid, community focused conversations.

We covered a lot of ground:

- Why she’s running and what she believes sets her apart from her primary opponent
- Her past Republican registration and why she changed her party designation
- Transportation & HART — her vision for funding and strengthening public transit
-Hillsborough County Health Plan — and what she’d prioritize for residents’ access to care

We felt like this was a very refreshingly honest conversation about issues that directly affect daily life in Hillsborough County regardless of party affiliation.
