Understanding the process is important, and doing it is improving it! Performing during class time makes it possible to grow quickly in a safe environment surrounded by like-minded, supportive fellow actors.

Sunday Stand-up. While living and working in L.A. I performed at various venues, including The Comedy Store, Outpost Comedy, and Long Beach Playhouse.

My comedy trio, Baby Boomers Plus, with Jack Ross and Wes Martens performed at both public and private events. American Red Cross, K**b Hill Community Center, Cal State LA, Osher Lifelong Learning Center and many more. We were in an article in Time magazine and Lifestyle Television aired a thirty minute segment about our group.

I was also with Berube Improv group and performed improv at a variety of locations. I really enjoyed making people laugh and miss performing.

Stand-up training was with Mark Lonow, an owner of the Improv on Melrose, and Greg Dean. Improvisation was with Groundlings, Second City and Chris Berube. Training helps!

After thirteen years of teaching in Tampa and Lakeland, it is nice to be recognized.

I don't run a school or have others on the payroll. I share what I know from studying, training, and working in front of and behind the camera in Hollywood, with the top teachers and producers in the industry.

My teachings work! Hundreds of students have taken my classes and many of them are working in the industry. Others say the classes have helped them in their own lives and in other fields.

Over the years my classes were found through word of mouth, this page or searching Google. The reviews on Google written by students, are what encouraged them to choose Carole Gordon Acting Class.

I haven't marketed my classes elsewhere because I prefer limited size classes for hands on training, but recently I appeared on Great Day Live and now, Voyage Tampa. Stay tuned for more to follow!
