The San Francisco de Asís Church has always felt less like a building and more like a prayer in adobe and earth.

In one photograph, taken on a winter day, the sun hides behind heavy clouds yet still breaks through — a reminder that even in the quiet cold, light always finds its way.

In the second, a low composition from the front, the church rises with strength and humility, its lines guiding the eye upward, as if inviting the soul to lift, too.

Both captured in black and white, both carried by the same truth: time changes, seasons shift, but light and faith endure.
