Join the movement to raise the rails this weekend! Vigil at the Bridge starting tomorrow, Friday, October 3rd through Sunday, October 5th as we gather to show continued support to raise the rails at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge.

There will be a campout Friday and Saturday nights with a banner unfurling on the bridge at 5:30 pm Friday. We’ll remember those lost at the bridge in a prayer and meditation on Sunday at 4pm.

Join us all weekend or drop by whenever you are able, we’ll be happy to have you!

Be a once-per-hour face to photograph to show community support.

Write Hope Notes and bring them!!

In the wake of a record number of su***des at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge this month, Taos County youth, parents, law enforcement and government officials are calling on state

While we didn’t want to be at the bridge yesterday, rallying for necessary changes to be made to stop the constant loss, something beautiful happened. Connection, love and showing up for what we believe in are things that Taos does best.

There is no one here who is untouched by the su***des at the Gorge Bridge as it’s a part of our backyard, our home.

Yesterday, we were joined by parents, siblings and families of those who have jumped. We were joined by law enforcement, elected officials, community leaders, and teens — all of whom have been deeply affected by this issue.

Su***de and mental health issues do not have a race, they do not have a gender, a religion, a sexual orientation or a socioeconomic status — they touch all of us in some way. We have to do more to support those in crisis and do what we can to put prevention measures in place.

Join us this Friday as we gather at the Gorge Bridge for the Youth Rally for Change. Together, we’re raising our voices to call for su***de prevention, to push for action, and to honor the lives of those we’ve lost.

Join us this Friday, September 26th from 12-2 PM to demand urgent safety changes from our elected officials and show solidarity with the grieving families of those lost to the Gorge Bridge. Together, we can push for action to better protect our community and prevent future generations from experiencing the same loss.

We’ll start making signs at noon and have speakers at 1 PM.

Together we can find solace and power during trying times.

Please feel free to bring a photo, flowers, pictures or other offering for a memorial to those we have lost.
