**Warning, Long..Heart Felt..Post**
Where do I begin when discussing a journey that has had so many roller coaster rides? Let's start with the current. The picture below shows a record with multiple signatures on it. What does it mean? First off, I had no idea I would own a masterpiece like this and Secondly, it was all I could do to hold back tears when signing it. This week represented the 13th year of attending the Dj Expo in Atlantic City NJ. I still give 85% credit to the expo for my success as a Dj and where I have taken Impultz Entertainment so far. I have learned so much from attending and even more from the connections I have developed over the years. I have learned enough to speak at the expo and also be a part of a seminar here and there. 😉 This year, I got the call. The call I thought I wanted for at least 8yrs, the call to perform at an official DJX party. Michael Alevras and Darryl Jacobsen thought enough of me and my team to give us a shot! The reason I thought I wanted it was because I had no idea how much anxiety would come along with it! I mean after all, how do you perform in front of a room full of Djs and entertainers, as a Dj and entertainer? 🤣 With the help of my right-hand-man Tommy Curlings, we devised a plan! Even though it was stressful leading up to event day and even more stressful on event day, we as professionals pulled together and had an epic night. Surely one that I will never forget and hope to do again. The signatures beside mine, they are some of the very BEST in the business and I am honored to have shared the stage with so much amazing talent. I am beyond happy that I got this opportunity, but I am even more proud of the team I have been blessed with. I say all the time that they make me look good and I truly mean that. My entire staff is some of the very best in the business and I believe that whole heartedly! I have far more to post from this week, but this is all I can give for now. All I can say is this, THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU to all that have believed in me and my team. THANK YOU for helping make Impultz Entertainment something to be proud of........

PRO TIP: DJ's are IMPORTANT! Choose wisely and make sure you have an experienced professional.

For On Location Ceremonies (Outdoors or at a Venue): They have ALL the gear to make your ceremony run smooth. From entrance music, mic's to allow everyone to hear the vows, and fun exit music....IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

For Receptions, DJ's are the MVPs:
-Reception flow is KEY! Your guests need to KNOW what's next and your DJ is the best person for the job. Armed with a microphone and years of wedding experience, the best of the best keep everyone informed.
-DJ's keep constant communication with other vendors. Are all the key vendors ready for the next step? Is everyone in place for the introductions? How long until dinner will be ready?..etc....
-DJ's READ the crowd and know what music to play for dinner, all the events of the evening, and how to keep the dance floor packed! This is a skill they've honed over time and it's GOLD.
-DJ's can get your guest's PUMPED to be there. The best DJ's I know get out there on the dance floor WITH everyone, will show off some moves and even teach the steps of a dance. They provide an experience.
-DJ's KNOW their music and they prepare for the event. They have the couple's play list and have had communication prior to the event. They are professional.

You NEED a DJ. Hire an experienced one that comes HIGHLY recommended. It is THAT big of a deal. Trust me, I photograph weddings for a living. Your DJ can be the difference between a KILLER good time and just a regular reception where people eat and leave.
