Bethel Park are news briefs include holiday concert, Rotary scholarship and more.

Community Band South, Bethel Park High School Top 21 and the Handbell Ringers of Southminster Presbyterian will perform from 2:30-4 p.m. Dec. 7 for the Dean Streator Holiday Concert. Attendees are asked to come early as parking is limited at the Bethel Park Community Center. This is a free event.

Bethel Park goaltender Kevin Teamann proved inspirational at the start of the PIHL season.

“He’s a great kid with a strong work ethic, and his early success this season is well-deserved," says Bethel Park coach Mike Schall. "Watching his growth and maturity over the years has been fun, and we’re proud of the leader he’s become for our team.

Teamann was named the Class 2A Player of the Month for October after posting a 2-1-1 record, 1.96 goals-against average and .916 save percentage.
