Artichoke Flower ✨💜
I said I was going to harvest this year, but I missed the timeframe, so we get to see this beautiful flower again!
It’s the end of the season for this artichoke. I will cut it down once we enjoy seeing the flowers, leaving the roots in the ground!
I’ll top with compost/mulch.
During late fall, I have baby artichoke plants coming back!
Zones 7 and up, can be grown as a perennial!
I grew this plant from seed and planted in Spring of 2023. ✨
