I filmed and edited this video in collaboration with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, documenting a student composition workshop inspired by Dicey Langston: The South Carolina Girl Who Defied an Army.

Local students worked directly with GSO musicians and composer Peter B. Kay to explore history through music — turning a Revolutionary-era story into a creative, collaborative and hands-on experience. Projects like this are why arts education and community storytelling matter.
