This year's festival is going to be virtual/online.

We found out today, it appears our theater venue has been temporarily shut down amidst the covid limitations. This leaves us with few alternatives to be able to adequately and safety (with social distancing), find a suitable alternative to accommodate the audience size we are anticipating. Added into the concern, is the county (and town) just raised itself to be classified a "high" risk area, due to covid cases.

Therefore, we feel it is in the best interest of everyone's safety to host the festival virtual/online this year.

It is so great that this film festival is centered on the horror genre! I had really loved Ashley Judd in Bug, and recently found out that her first role was in a 1993 film called Ruby In Paradise. I was very curious to see her role in her first movie and gave it a watch when I had heard that it was rereleased for stream on Amazon, iTunes, and other streaming platforms. After watching the movie, it makes me appreciate Judd even more because of how great her acting is, even from the beginning. Her acting is very natural and is captivating, making the movie that much better to watch. I would highly recommend everyone to watch this film, especially for fans of Judd! For anyone who is interested, I had watched the trailer on Quiver Distribution’s YouTube channel!
