Guinness World Records is saddened to learn of the passing of longest ongoing pilgrimage record holder, Arthur Blessitt (USA). Arthur had roamed across all seven continents, including Antarctica, since first setting out on 25 Dec 1969. He carried a 3.7-m-tall (12-ft) wooden cross throughout his pilgrimage and as an evangelist he preached from the Bible along the way. When his record was first confirmed in 2013, Arthur had walked a distance of 40,235 miles (64,752 km), but his journey continued for many years.

"I’ve carried a 12 foot cross in every sovereign nation, major island groups and territories. I have walked with the cross of over 43,340 miles, over 86 million steps..." read a statement from Arthur on his Instagram

Start off by saying thank you to everyone for your love, thoughts and prayers. The Lord is with us and it is truly a blessing to feel the comfort of His Spirit as we navigate this next chapter. We will be honoring Gideon and giving praise to our Lord for his life next Friday at The Rock Church Temecula Valley at 1pm. If you would like to attend just send me a direct message. Gideon our mighty child of God has stepped into the presence of our wonderful Lord at 0713 today. Gideon fought hard to make it into this world and we are so bless the Lord allowed us to be witnesses to such a miracle. Gideon lived the full life God intended for him to live. Now we celebrate his ultimate healing and look forward to seeing him again when we are called to heaven. God is good. Thank you all for your prayers and support. All of you have been part of Gideons mighty army of prayer warriors and I am forever grateful. Love you and God Bless.

Please continue to lift up baby Gideon in prayer. Unfortunately he is starting to decline. We lift up Gideon to the Lord.

Gideon lives!! He is currently in the NICU. Unfortunately his breathing is not well. The docs don't have much hope for him due to his underdeveloped lungs but we are praying and giving it to God. The Lord has gotten Gideon this far and we are going to keep raising him up in prayer for his breathing to get better. We know God is not done doing a mighty work through Gideon. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
