❤️🩹 VULNERABLE POST ALERT
September is Su***de Prevention Month, and as the month comes to an end, I’ve put off making this post ALL month because, honestly while I’ve always been open about this in the past, I was STILL afraid of what people might think or say.
I want to take a moment to once again share a little bit of my mental health story and my battle with depression and anxiety.
I know people have a certain perception of me based on what they see online. But behind all of that is someone who has overcome A LOT when it comes to my mental health.
I’ve been in some really dark places. Places I don’t always talk about and, honestly, places that can still be difficult to revisit.
But I stand here today BEYOND grateful that I made it through. As a follower of Christ, I constantly ask God to use me—even in my weakest moments, even in the parts of my story that are uncomfortable to share—to help someone else.
So if you’re reading this and you’re struggling, please know that you are NOT alone.
You may not see it right now, but every day you keep going, you’re getting a little bit stronger. Keep fighting. Keep holding on. Keep believing that things can get better.
And most importantly, know that God is with you—even in the moments when you may not feel Him.
I share my story because I know what it feels like to feel alone. And if sharing my story helps even ONE person feel a little less alone, then it’s worth it. ❤️🩹
Keep going…Love u.
