This weeks Bulletin Board for Bedford High School - 12-17-20
Fourteen years ago, Mr. Michael J. Smith, decided to run for the school board and has been on it ever since.
Mr. Ronald Koch sought a seat on the board and then ran for reelection once his first term was done. He has served a total of eight years.
Both men decided not to seek reelection this past November and their terms will expire at the end of this year. The December 17th Committee of the Whole meeting will be their final official Bedford Public Schools Board of Education meeting.
We would like to thank them for their many years of service to the district. Many of those years have been spent in leadership roles on the board. We appreciate the time they have devoted in carrying out the work of the board and we are grateful for their dedication to our schools, our students and staff, and our community.
Thank you, Mr. Smith and Mr. Koch!

The Michigan High School Football Coaches Association has named Jay Lake one of its Assistant Coaches of the Year!
Mark German, Athletic Director for Bedford Public Schools, notes that, “It comes as no surprise that Jay Lake was selected as Assistant Coach of the Year. He is an outstanding role model and football coach and we are lucky to have him on our staff.”
The Kicking Mules Head Coach, John Phillips agrees, ”Jay Lake is the rock our entire staff relies on. He is not only a student of the game, he also cares deeply about our players and program. On a daily basis, you can find Jay working on something related to Bedford football. We would not have been as successful on or off the field without his dedication.”

There are currently five games that students could participate in. Three of the games are PC based which are SMITE, League of Legends, and Rocket League. Two of the games will start this spring and are PS4 based which are Madden 21 and FIFA 21.
