Middle Tennessee's Native Vencent Hickerson roots run deep in the Music City, as a second generation in Nashville's music scene Hickerson was raised up looking up to his father's legacy of music. Hickerson's heritage runs strong in his genes as he has followed the footsteps of his father, his mentor being a phenomenal guitar player , who graced the stage as a touring musician for legends such as Loretta Lynn, Steve Miller Band, Alan Jackson, David Allen Coe and many more. With that inspiration, Hickerson took it to heart and set his sights on Nashville that set the stage for his career ahead. After playing every stage possible in Nashville, the singer-songwriter garnered himself a publishing deal and next would become the next stage that would change his life- to be signed to a major record company.

Metallica and its foundation, All Within My Hands (AWMH), are thrilled to announce more than 1,000 blood donations have been collected to date as part of a lifesaving partnership with the American Red Cross.
Just over one month ago, a series of Red Cross x Metallica blood drives kicked off in select locations along the current U.S. leg of the M72 World Tour. Since then, members of the Metallica family have turned out to blood drives in full force, ready to roll up their sleeves and help patients counting on critical care this spring. This week marked the 1,000th donation collected, with several blood drives still on the books into June. Each blood donation can help save more than one life.
"The Red Cross appreciates the impact this partnership has made in the lives of people in trauma situations, and those facing cancer and chronic conditions, like sickle cell disease," said Darren Irby, executive director of national partnerships for the Red Cross.

Post Malone's planning on throwing a wild party in Nashville every night for the foreseeable future ... 'cause he's announced plans to open a massive entertainment space in the city!

The music superstar dropped the news Tuesday ... revealing he's partnered with premier hospitality brand TC Restaurant Group to open a 26K-square-foot venue in the city's Lower Broadway district.

This place ain't just a bar and big dancefloor, BTW ... when it's open it'll boast three stages, six bars, a full-service dining room -- and a rooftop area where patrons can enjoy the city view (and, hopefully, sit in the chairs instead of chucking them off).

Post says, "We’ve created a space where everyone can come together and kick some a**. Nashville has really become a second home for me, so I can’t wait to invite y’all over to my house."

More than 8,00 fans showed up at Nashville’s First Horizon Park for Folds of Honor Tennessee’s fifth annual Rock ‘N Jock Celebrity Softball Game Sponsored by Black Rifle Coffee Company, which saw Team First Responders, led by Captain Michael Chandler, taking home the win.

The star-studded, action-packed event raised more than $670,000 for Folds of Honor, which supports families of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders through educational scholarships. The event also celebrated the 250th anniversary of the military branches and Marine Week Nashville with several military-themed performances.

Christian country singer/songwriter Ben Fuller surprised the Opry audience by inviting Carrie Underwood to join him on stage for their first live performance together, singing their new duet "If It Was Up to Me." The track is featured on Fuller's forthcoming album Walk Through Fire, set for release on June 6 via Sony Music / Provident Entertainment. He also performed his single "If I Got Jesus" as part of an all-star lineup that included Underwood, Ricky Skaggs, Bill Anderson, Henry Cho, Don Schlitz, and 49 Wi******er. The special evening was part of the Grand Ole Opry's ongoing 100-year celebration.

Both songs are a part of the 13-track album, Walk Through Fire, which marks a milestone moment in Fuller's journey, both musically and spiritually. The record blends elements of rock, classical, and country, and represents Fuller at his most honest and unfiltered.

It really is time for “last call” – there are no more for the road.
“Y’all may have heard that I’m kinda winding down. In fact, this is my last road show.” With those words, Alan Jackson made it official – a touring career that has taken his catalog of true country music from coast-to-coast countless times…crossed Canada from sea-to-sea…and even made its way to such far-reaching places as Australia, Brazil, and Europe…is nearing its end. Regarding the concept of the album, Carter said, “This album is not only about love, life, and tragedy, but also the beauty that can come from it all.”

“This is the most vulnerable material I’ve ever released, and it is cathartic to share my story in this way,” he revealed.
