We got her 💕💕
Lani is SAFE in temporary foster care! We only have two weeks to find her a long-term foster. We would love for her to be in a quiet home with another dog so she can properly decompress and learn how to trust again.

Lani had a deadline bc she is literally terrified of everything. She’s completely shut down and who can blame her. She was kept in a house with no ac, surrounded by f***s and urine with multiple other dogs. neglected and not loved.💔

She loves dogs and is very sweet. There is absolutely no aggression in her just fear. It takes time for her to warm up and whoever fosters her needs to understand that we understand what Laney needs, and we will go at her pace.

We supply the fosters everything they need to set them up for success! We will be there constant support system in partnership with our friends Mable's Mission Rescue !🛟

🆘🆘🆘Im begging for a foster bc we just lost the one we had for sweet , terrified Lani!

As you all go on drinking your coffee, eating your breakfast moving along with your families and your work schedule. There’s dogs in the shelter, literally hanging on every minute that we try and save them.

When you agree to Foster, there are 1 million things depending on you, especially that dog !!

My stomach’s in knots! The rescue and I have been scrambling since yesterday. I need somebody with a chill home that can take Laney into their care! Food, medical everything they need will be supplied.

She is afraid of her own shadow, but yet she is the sweetest, most forgiving dog we cannot fail her!

She needs to be picked up today and we need a place where she can rest her head.

🐾 Meet Chuckles – Our Smiling, Water-Loving Goofball! 🐾

We’re giving a little extra help to one of our longest shelter residents — Chuckles, a one-year-old, 54-pound bundle of joy who’s been at the shelter since March 30.

Chuckles is all puppy heart in a big dog body. He LOVES toys, splashing in water, belly rubs, and attention. He’s always smiling, always ready for fun, and he gets along great with other dogs! 🐶💦

This sweet boy was found as a stray wearing both a spike collar and a shock collar — yet somehow, he never lost his happy spirit. ❤️ He’s been adopted twice, but both times returned because his families didn’t have the patience to train him. That’s why we’re taking him under our wing through Operation Homeward Bound’s “Last Chance Dog” Project — to finally give Chuckles the guidance, structure, and love he deserves.

When bringing this handsome home as part of his journey, and it’s important to remember the 3-3-3 Rule:
3 days to decompress 🕰️
3 weeks to learn the routine 🏠
3 months to feel truly at home ❤️

Dogs are family — and they thrive when treated as such. Chuckles just needs someone patient, consistent, and ready to help him become the best boy he can be.

Pablo is going to school! We have recently decided to expand our resources in helping the dogs in our program Last Chance Dog Project to increase their chances on finding their perfect forever home! 🏠
Pablo has been in our program partnered with for one year now thanks to amazing our amazing fosters!!
This dog seriously has my heart and the heart of everybody he meets, he deserves to be in a forever family, and that is exactly why we will never stop trying. By putting him in training, we are hoping to work on basically obedience as well as leash manners.. so far he’s a rockstar!
Pablo is one of two dogs. We currently have in training. Operation homeward bound is about setting the dogs and their families up for success! We are super excited to hopefully partner up with trainers in multiple areas to achieve our goals in helping, save these dogs and putting them into loving homes that treat them like family members.

Please take a moment to join us in celebrating Warhol‘s 10th birthday!!! 💙🎂🐶🤍
A year ago, this boy was living his life in the shelter, and because of his medical needs he was given a deadline at PBCACC. We immediately jumped into action and put him in our Last Chance Dog project in partnership with we secured a foster and were able to save his life. His second Foster turned out to be his forever family, and we are so so grateful because people cared enough. This boy is living his best life with the best parents and siblings he could ask for he is part of a family and he has loved beyond. Getting these pictures today brought tears to my eyes and just made me so happy to see him with the biggest goofiest smile celebrating his 10th birthday!!! 🎂 so please wish Warhol the happiest birthday!!! And please thank his mom and dad and sisters for making him part of the family!
