🚨⏰‼️ Seven years after founding our rescue in Terlingua, Terlingua needs us. We have 35 badly neglected dogs (33 small puppies and two moms) in a tiny, shelterless community, nearly 100 miles from the vet, in a place where everyone is thoroughly dog saturated.
These dogs were removed from their original home as part of an active animal cruelty case and have been released to us to manage their current and future care and find placement options. We weren’t sure we could handle this, but we are - then, now and always - propped up by a village of helpers. We are now certain that we can help them all.
The rescue couldn’t wait and is already in full swing but the fundraising starts now. We commit to getting every one of these dogs healthy, adoptable and home. Please donate to support our efforts and we will do right by them and prove again that making the magic happen is all about heart, will and grit- despite all the things that make it excruciating hard.
