80โs BABIES ๐ค
We grew up when you had to actually go outside to find your friends.
No cell phones. No GPS. No Google. No streaming. No internet to tell you how to do s**t.
We memorized phone numbers, used a phone with a cord, watched TV when the show came on, rewound VHS tapes, and prayed nobody recorded over your favorite movie. ๐
We drank from the garden hose, rode bikes until the streetlights came on, played outside all day, and somehow survived without helmets, seatbelts that hugged you like a seatbelt, or a parent knowing exactly where the hell we were.
If we were hungry, we ate whatever was in the house.
If we were bored, we figured it out.
If something broke, somebody said โDONโT TOUCH ITโ and then tried to fix it with duct tape.
We didnโt have much of what kids have todayโฆ
but damn, we had freedom, imagination, independence, and a childhood.
And somehowโฆ we survived. ๐
1980 babiesโฆ we were built different.
