FAQtoid -
The term "Ni**od" in modern American slang means to be a foolish, stupid or idiot of a person, a sarcastic insult. So how did it come about?
The term "Ni**od" only became another word for idiot because of Daffy Duck in a Loony Toons cartoon in 1948. Daffy called Elmer Fudd a
"ni**od". Ni**od is a Biblical character who's referred to as a mighty hunter. If you look up the meaning in the dictionary, it says "ni**ods take to the field after everything from prairie dogs to grizzly bears" And since Elmer Fudd was a bad hunter, Daffy was using it ironically.

Q: THIS is the most forgotten item at airport security. Often alongside shoes, electronics, and jewelry, because travelers need to remove them for metal detectors, leading to them being left in bins, especially when being rushed. What is it?

The world's oldest Tw***ie is turning 50. A chemistry teacher in Maine opened it in 1976 after a student asked how long they'd last. It's been sitting in a glass case at the school for decades. Spoiler alert: I doubt you'd want to eat it. 😳

Retired science teacher Roger Bennatti and former student Libby Rosemeier recall the history behind the 43-year-old Tw***ie at George Stevens Academy high sc...

FAQtoid -

Dr. Seuss's real name is Theodor Geisel. He came up with the pen name "Seuss" when he was caught drinking gin with his friends; and as a result, his dean insisted he resign from writing for the college magazine. So to continue working on the magazine without the dean's knowledge, he began signing his work with "Seuss," which he later changed to "Dr. Seuss." "Seuss" was his mother's maiden name as well as his own middle name. For the "Dr." part in "Dr. Seuss" it was to pay homage to Theodore's father with in hopes that his son would get his PhD. Geisel instead dropped out of the PhD program at Oxford where he was pursuing a PhD in English.
