Well, I haven't been on here in a while. I took a break. I felt like it was too much and that it was changing a lot. I felt like I wasn't able to reach as many people anymore. It felt like a lot of work to just talk to myself. If you read this please leave a message. Let me know how it has been going for you. Why did Facebook change how many groups you can post to at once? Isn't the point of this to have as many people as possible responding to your post? I haven't felt like posting lately when nobody's going to see it. Really, what is the point? 🤔💔😔

We really lived like that without even thinking twice about it.

I'd drag myself to classes all day then head straight to my part-time gig flipping burgers or stocking shelves.

By the end of the week I still had enough left over to fill up the tank of my beat-up but running car and buy tickets to see my favorite band for twelve bucks.

No stress about rent eating everything or needing three jobs just to survive.

We'd pile into that parking lot after school just like this arms around each other smiling because life actually felt doable.

Gas was cheap concerts were cheap and we still had cash for pizza after.

Those afternoons hanging by the cars with my crew made me feel like we had the whole world in our pockets.

I miss when a regular kid could actually balance school work and fun without scraping by every month.
