We are proud to announce that SWAT has been in service for 74 years!!

Incorporated June 19th, 1951, SWAT has been providing communication services across southwest Arkansas for 74 years. For seventy-four years, Southwest Arkansas Telephone Cooperative, Inc. has made major advancements in the telecommunications sector providing traditional telephone service to its members and customers and was a pioneer in the area by being one of the first providers to offer fiber optic internet service. Operating locally from Texarkana, the SWAT serving area has expanded into the states of Arkansas and Texas and across five counties of Cass, Miller, Hempstead, Howard, and Columbia.

Over the years, our company has seen many changes, but there is one thing that remains...the ultimate goal of the Cooperative is to take care of our greatest asset - our CUSTOMERS!
