George Wayne Willige had a 36 year career at Texarkana Independent School District, where he served as a football coach, track coach, teacher, counselor, principal, and administrator. His passion for his former athletes and students set him apart, as he took great pride in their accomplishments. George cherished every encounter with former students, often sharing stories and relishing in their successes, both on and off the field. His enthusiasm and genuine care for others left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
