PLEASE READ THIS AND NOT SIMPLY LOOK AT GRAPHIC.

UPDATE...This image is just one image from one forecast model. Most other models are not this extreme and not even close. But this was posted today and I wanted to explain things for you...

-A cold rain will likely overspread part of the area on Monday morning.

-In most cases, it will only be rain.

-There likely will be a layer of warm air just above the surface that is above freezing. That means any snow falling towards the ground likely will melt before reaching surface. If the layer of warm air is thin enough, you may see some flakes reach the ground.

-Another scenario is for the snow to completely melt and fall to the ground as rain or freezing rain. There is a SMALL chance it could freeze on some elevated surfaces. SMALL. Most areas will likely be above freezing.

BOTTOM LINE...Be ready for a chilly and damp Monday. The ground is very warm. Unless something drastic changes, I would say we are not in store for a big chance for winter impacts. May see something, but mainly rain. Of course, we will update.
