The state of our heart in this life determines our experience in the grave — pure hearts filled with obedience, mercy, and dhikr find peace and tranquility (Qur’an 13:28), while hearts burdened by pride, envy, and disobedience face distress (Ibn Qayyim, Al-Fawaid); the Prophet ﷺ taught that remembrance, gratitude, and seeking forgiveness unlock blessings and ease in the hereafter (Al-Daa wal-Dawaa 1/187-188). May Allah purify our hearts and grant us ease in Barzakh and Jannah. Ameen.
