โ€œI said 10,000 Istighfar, fasted 9 days of Dhul Hijjah, cried in tahajjud begging Allah for a better jobโ€ฆ

โ€ฆthen Allah took away the one I already had.โ€

At first, I didnโ€™t understand.

I thought:
โ€œYa Allahโ€ฆ I was praying more.โ€
โ€œI was making dua every day.โ€
โ€œI was trying to become closer to You.โ€

So why did everything suddenly fall apart?

Why did the door close right when I was begging for something better?

Thatโ€™s the painful part about tawakkulโ€ฆ
Sometimes Allah answers your dua by removing what you were depending on.

And honestly?
Losing the job hurt.

The routine disappeared.
The salary stopped.
The stability vanished.
People started asking questions.
Overthinking became louder at night.

I kept wondering:
โ€œDid Allah reject my dua?โ€
โ€œWas I not good enough?โ€
โ€œWhy would Allah take away the little I already had?โ€

But then I realized something powerful:

Maybe Allah was not taking away my rizqโ€ฆ
Maybe He was removing me from a place that was draining my peace, my worth, and my future.

Because sometimes we beg Allah for growth while holding tightly to places weโ€™ve already outgrown.

And Allah knows what we donโ€™t.

He sees the stress behind your smile.
The silent burnout.
The toxic environment.
The doors that would never open if you stayed comfortable.

So before giving you something betterโ€ฆ
He empties your hands first.

And that emptiness feels terrifying.

But every prophet went through seasons where things looked like they were getting worse before Allah opened the greatest doors.

Maybe this loss was not punishment.
Maybe it was protection.
Maybe this was Allah forcing me to depend on Him instead of my paycheck.

Today I still donโ€™t know exactly where my next opportunity will come from.

But I know this:

The Allah who made me cry in sujood is not going to abandon me after hearing every single dua.

Sometimes Allah breaks your routine to build your future.

And sometimes the job you lost was only temporaryโ€ฆ
but the rizq Allah is preparing for you is bigger than what you were crying for.

So if youโ€™re in that painful waiting season right nowโ€ฆ

Keep making istighfar.
Keep making dua.
Keep trusting Allah.

Because closed doors can also be answers.
And Allah never removes something without wisdom.

May you stand together in Makkah saying:
โ€œLabbaik Allahumma Labbaikโ€ with tears in your eyes and peace in your hearts. ๐ŸŒ™

May your next Eid be in Mina, your duas accepted in Arafah, and your sins forgiven by Allahโ€™s mercy. โœจ
