Another view of our heat race win last Saturday. Exciting as it was. I do need to apologize to a couple guys for changing lanes in the middle of the corner and cutting thier noses off. Not how I want to be known as a driver. We will get better and learn to race cleaner.

Saturday June 20th race recap…

Got to Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway excited that the car was running right this time. 13 sport mods showed up. Started our heat race 1st and fell back to 6th pretty quickly. I could not get the car to turn at all really. Tried adjusting breaks while racing and it didn’t help at all. Just kinda held on to finish the race. Made a couple small adjustments to try to help before the Main Event. Started the main 12th finished 13th. Same song and dance as the heat. Car just pushed really bad up the hill. Ran I think 5 or 6 laps in the main and after clipping the far right rear of the car on the front stretch wall I decide to pull off rather than break my car or ruin someone else’s night. After talking to a couple guys after the races. turns out I went the wrong direction on my adjustments. Just a rookie mistake. I’ve got to learn to slow my mind down while at the races and try to think clearly. Super bummed on our performance so far this year. At this point we are just a field filler car. These sport mods are definitely no joke. We just need to improve every time we go out and that’s not happening at the moment. But with that being said we will try again another day. Thanks everyone that roots for us or try’s to help us. We really do appreciate the help.
