Everyone told you your forties were the beginning of the end. They lied.

Your forties are where it all actually begins. This is where you stop shrinking to make everyone comfortable. Where you finally know what you want, what you will not tolerate, and how good it feels to put yourself first.

Yes, your body is changing. Perimenopause is real. But this is not the season you fade out, it is the season you come home to yourself, with more clarity and less apology than ever.

So take care of her on purpose. The energy, the hormones, the gut, the skin, the sleep. Not to chase 25 again, but to feel unstoppable at 45.

Comment BALANCE and I will send you my free hormone guide, the exact daily routine to feel like yourself again 💛 And follow along, because the best chapter is the one you are writing right now 🌸

5 skincare steps every woman needs in perimenopause and menopause 🌸

As estrogen drops, your skin loses collagen faster and gets drier and more sensitive. Here is the routine that actually helps 👇

1️⃣ Switch to a gentle, creamy cleanser.
Harsh foaming cleansers strip an already-dry barrier. Use a mild cream or milk cleanser with lukewarm water, morning and night, so your skin never feels tight.

2️⃣ Layer real hydration, then lock it in.
Apply a hyaluronic acid serum on damp skin to pull in moisture, then seal it with a ceramide moisturizer to rebuild the barrier. This is what stops the flaky, crepey feel.

3️⃣ Add a retinol at night.
It is the most proven ingredient for aging skin, supporting collagen and cell turnover. Start 2 nights a week and build up slowly so you do not irritate thinner skin.

4️⃣ Wear SPF 30 or higher every single morning.
Sun is the number one cause of collagen breakdown and dark spots at this stage. Daily sunscreen protects everything else you are doing, even indoors near windows.

5️⃣ Nourish your skin from within.
Skin is built from the inside. Focus on water, omega-3s, protein, and antioxidants, and do not ignore your gut, because poor digestion and everyday inflammation show up on your face.

Save this and share it with a friend who needs it 💛 Follow for more.

Let’s be honest… hot flashes can make you feel like your body has a mind of its own.

You can be sitting calmly, minding your business, and suddenly you’re sweating, flushed, uncomfortable, and wondering, “What is happening to me?”

And it’s not just the heat. It’s the way it can interrupt your sleep, affect your mood, make you feel self-conscious, and leave you exhausted the next day.

So if you’ve been dealing with this, please know this: you’re not crazy, you’re not weak, and you’re definitely not alone.

Your body is changing, and it deserves support, patience, and understanding.

Perimenopause really said: “Your maintenance routine is now a part-time job.” 😅

Getting enough protein, lifting weights, taking magnesium, walking 10k steps, getting sunlight, vitamin D, omega-3s, sauna, sleep, hydration… it can feel like a lot to keep up with.

But we don’t do it because we’re trying to be perfect.

We do it because our bodies are changing, and these habits help support our mood, energy, metabolism, muscle, bones, sleep, and the way we feel in our own skin.

Some days you’ll nail it. Some days you won’t. But every small habit is a vote for feeling stronger, healthier, and more like yourself again. 🤍

Your bones are quietly disappearing… and you might not feel it until it’s too late. 🦴

That’s why movement matter, especially exercises that challenge your bones, like small jumps or controlled impact.

When you jump, your body gets a signal: “We still need strong bones here.” Over time, that kind of weight-bearing movement can help support bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

It doesn’t have to be extreme. A few gentle, controlled jumps done consistently can make a difference.

Hot flashes are not just “feeling a little warm.”

They can hit out of nowhere, while you’re working, sleeping, talking to someone, getting ready, or just trying to live your normal life.

One minute you feel fine, and the next your body feels like someone turned the heat all the way up from the inside.

And the worst part is that it can feel embarrassing, frustrating, and completely out of your control.

But you’re not being dramatic. Your body is going through real hormonal changes, and hot flashes are one of the ways it can show up during perimenopause and menopause.

The more we understand what’s happening, the less alone we feel going through it.

Trying to stay on top of everything in your 40s can feel like a full-time job.

Protein, magnesium, weight training, 10k steps, sauna, vitamin D, omega-3s… and somehow you’re still expected to work, take care of everyone, sleep well, manage stress, and not lose your mind. 😅

But here’s the thing: these little habits matter.

They help support your energy, mood, muscles, bones, hormones, sleep, and long-term health, especially during perimenopause, when your body starts asking for a different level of care.

It’s not about being perfect. It’s about showing up for the version of you that wants to feel strong, clear, calm, and like herself again. 🤍

Your bones need love too, especially as you get older. 🤍

Something as simple as small jumps can help remind your bones to stay strong because your body responds to impact by building and maintaining bone density.

And no, it doesn’t have to be intense. Even gentle, controlled jumps or low-impact weight-bearing movement can be a small way to support your bones over time.

Strong bones now = more freedom, confidence, and independence later. 🦴✨

Always start slow and check with a professional if you already have osteoporosis, joint pain, or injuries.
