Last night, I attended the Women in Horror and screening of Queens of the Dead event. Honestly, yes, great panel, a book reading by amazing writer Vincent Tirado, and ofcourse the screening of Queens of the Dead, which I might add was my first time watching it. The topper for the night was having the honor of meeting Tina Romero herself, briefly told her I have been a fan of her fathers work like many of us horror fans, and her film definitely felt original with the subtle touch of Romero Zombies. If you haven't seen the movie yet, please do, its funny, has heart to it, music was amazing and ofcourse zombies! - Jackie
