Thank You Clive Davis for taking a chance on my vision 20yrs ago when I wanted to start Polo Grounds Music.. My first release was A Bay Bay and we went on to sign Yo Gotti and put out 5 Star Chick then Pitbull, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg and others but it started out with a few meetings with you & Charles when I didnt have any artists and didn’t even have a name for my company, but you had belief in my ability to find talent and run my own company.. You helped a lot of Black execs start their labels like Gamble & Huff, LaFace, Bad Boy and more.. I’m happy to have been a part of that history.
Prayers to my friend, your son, Doug and the rest of the family as well as all of your former staff and teammates who loved you. Crank the A/C (those who know know😂), I’m sure the table will be set with white glove treatment!
