The Met Gala is taking place on Monday, and ahead of fashion’s biggest annual event, it’s been revealed just how much a ticket is said to cost for all the celebs who are expected to show up. According to The New York Times, attending the prestigious occurrence this year will cost a whopping $30,000 while tables are being priced at an astounding $200,000 to $300,000.

It’s unclear whether this means that a ticket to the Met Gala won’t get you a seat once inside the venue, but either way, it’s still going to cost every person in attendance quite a lot of money. Fortunately for the celebs who will be strutting their extravagant outfits on the carpet, most are usually invited by fashion brands who cover the pricey fee.
