How time flies it’s 1966 and KPOR had me do a live broadcast from the dam dedication and I interviewed Sen Warren Magnuson. Seems like yesterday.

#312 - Visit the Wanapum Dam located on the Columbia River about six miles downstream of Vantage in central Washington. The dam is a key player in providing renewable energy in Washington, and is named in honor of the Wanapum band of Native Americans who lived along the river from Vantage south toward Pasco.
