26 Elementaries. 26 Books Donated. Thousands of Smiles.

Thanks to The Woodlands Lions Club, thousands of children now have the opportunity to check out "Arlo Needs Glasses" from their school library!

Children's vision has been a founding pillar of Lions Clubs — vision screenings, eyeglasses, eyeglass recycling, and awareness are at the heart of everything we do. So when Read for a Better Life Day rolled around, our members didn't just drop off books — we showed up and read them out loud.

And wow, did the kids deliver. 💙 Little hands shot up to show off their own glasses — proud to tell us they were just like Arlo! The joy on their faces reminded us exactly why this work matters: seeing clearly changes how a child learns, plays, and sees themselves.

Thank you to every teacher, librarian, and student who welcomed us in. Here's to a lot more clear-eyed reading ahead!

Every backpack matters. Every pencil counts. This month, our members rolled up their sleeves to support Interfaith of The Woodlands' "Kits for Kidz" program — helping make sure local students start the school year ready to learn, not worrying about what they're missing.

Service like this is what community looks like. Our thanks to Interfaith and every volunteer that showed up with time, energy, and heart. Because of you, kids across our community are walking into class with a little more confidence and a lot more support.
