one of the best days of my life!!

I had started iCrave Jewels about a year before. Living 32 minutes outside NYC i was constantly in the city going to my suppliers and getting inspiration all over.

I had really grown a fondness for tulle skirts. So when a tulle skirt designer invited me to bring some of my designs into the city and meet at their office, I jumped at the chance.

I exited Grand Central and took a cab to what’s knows as the Fashion Building, it houses some of the most popular labels that most of us have in our closet. As the taxi driver dropped me off at the address. He turned and he said “you must be a designer” I will never forget the smirk I had on my face as I exited the cab. Yes, I wassss a designer.

Once I got to my destination on the 48th floor. The designers asked me if I’d style some looks, then I asked where the models were. She replied,

“You are the MODEL” 🥺 What? Me.. a model.
(It was very reminiscent of when Carrie Bradshaw walked in NYFW and fell) 🤣

As I put together looks and went outside to capture some of them, I was beaming!! As you can see!!! How did one idea, turn into this incredible experience.

I will never forget this day for as long as I live!
