Growth doesn't always happen within our parameters. Growth doesn't necessarily mean an increase, or progress within our current path. Growth can also mean a loss of direction in life, destroying the old paths that you used to take, searching your soul and finding a new reason to move forward. Growth can, at times, look like loss, if the loss doesn't stop you, but fuels you.

I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day!!! It's is not a happy day for all. For most we celebrate freedom and honor the sacrifices made by many to allow us this freedom. For some today is a reminder of a sacrifice made not only for freedom, but for life, for friends, for family, for honor, and for brothers and sisters in arms. This is a day of remembrance for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and country, but that sacrifice is very personal to the families and comrades of those who have made it. Gone but not forgotten!!! Til we meet again!!!

Today is the day. All packed up ready to go. Heading out to the H.O.P.E. event in Cut Off. We are excited to be a part of this event Y'all come on down and see what the people of this great organization are doing to spread hope in the community.

4 AM PERSPECTIVE:
Sometimes, people are put in our lives to get us through a dark time or to help us grow into our next phase of life. Holding on to these relationships or harboring some sort of resentment because the paths of life have separated is a road block to growth. Enjoy the moments, absorb the knowledge, love the people, and politely let them go when the time has come.

Believing in yourself is the foundation of everything. It doesn't matter how many times others tell you that you're doing a great job, or that you're a good person. Until you learn to trust yourself, even the most supportive voices around you will fall on doubt and disbelief. This has very little to do with your capabilities, or your accomplishments. Its about believing in yourself, trusting yourself, and having the confidence to show up for yourself over and over again, even when no one else does.

Fight!!! Fight like hell!!! Fight for every inch of ground you gain in life!!! Fight for a reason, for a purpose. Fight for family, friends, brothers and sisters in arms. Fight for those who are unable to fight for themselves. Stop fighting just to fight. You can't win shadow boxing. Know the enemy, know the target and fight like life depends on it because quality of life for yourself and those you choose to fight for might actually depend on it.

Oftentimes when we’ve strived for something and waited for something with anticipation and it doesn’t come to pass we can feel like it’s our fault. Like we’ve done something wrong, or this is punishment for something we’ve done in the past. Maybe you’ve convinced yourself that you didn’t get what you wanted because you didn’t deserve it. Well, sometimes life doesn’t give you what you want at the exact time that you ask for it. It’s not because you don’t deserve it. It’s because you’ve been working on yourself, growing within yourself, trying to become a better person and you deserve more than you’ve asked for. Trust that everything in life will work out. Not necessarily as you planned, but in the perfect time and be exactly what you need for the stage of life you are in. If you keep going and have faith, the moment will pass and life will make good on what you’ve earned.
