2020 is Still Glass Half Full

Well 2020 has been something. I can’t say it’s been a horrible year and I can’t say it’s been the best year ever. This year has brought the end of a 20 year marriage, becoming a sailor, a global pandemic, my youngest graduating high school and moving out of state, a new budding romance, moving several parishes away from my Northshore home, losing my job to Covid-related economic hardship, and finally starting my own business.

There are a lot of ups and downs from this year, but I’m excited to start this new business venture and finally put my 15 years of experience to work for myself. Cajun Country Promos is something I should have done years ago. I’ve been told by family, friends, and clients alike that I should start my own business and Covid was finally the push I needed to take the plunge (even if I was pushed off the diving board).
