We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our longtime faith and values columnist Tara Wentworth. We ask that you please keep her family and friends in your prayers at this time. We feel peace in knowing that is now rejoicing in the arms of Jesus and are thankful for the many that she may have helped lead to Him through her mission work and columns.

As we remember her, we think of Matthew 25:23, and imagine these are the words she heard upon entering Heaven’s pearly gates. “His Lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. SCHOOL SAFETY HEROES: The Thomasville City Schools - Thomasville, GA Board of Education recently recognized Gracie Harden and Thelma Bates with School Safety Awards. Harden and Bates both responded properly when an adult not wearing the proper badge approached them to enter the school. Unknown to Harden and Bates, the adults were undercover Homeland Security auditors, seeing if they could breach security. Read more here.
